Medicare Supplemental Coverage
Medicare Supplement plans are for individuals who are on Medicare but still want additional coverage for things Medicare doesn’t cover like coinsurance, copays or deductibles.
A Medicare Supplement insurance (Medigap) policy helps pay some of the health care costs that original Medicare doesn’t cover, like copayments, coinsurance and deductibles. Medigap policies are sold by private companies, not the government.
Some Medigap policies also cover services that original Medicare doesn’t cover, like medical care when traveling outside the U.S.
There are ten standardized Medicare Supplement plans. Each plan has a letter assigned to it. Each Medicare Supplement plan offers the same basic benefits.
Although insurance companies are required to offer the same basic benefits for each plan, they do have the ability to charge different premiums. We will help you shop around to find a Medicare Supplement insurance plan that will fit your medical and your financial needs.
